Becky Sims contacted the MSU MSBDC to assist with her plans to start a fitness center for women. Doc Braswell, counselor at the MSU MSBDC worked with Becky intensively on a variety of subjects ranging from developing a business plan, to marketing, managing, financing and accounting.
Below, Becky Sims shares a few comments about her business and her experience with the services she received.
"Business started March 2008, is owned by Becky Sims and Linda Holloway. Best bodies is a fitness center for women only, business has grown. Have a nice building and the latest new equipment. Received counseling from Doc Braswell on starting a business planning, marketing, and financing a business. Doc advised on organization and tax responsibilities and cash flow. Business plan was very helpful. Business has been good."
