For nearly four decades, Union Oilfield Supply has been run by the Tew family. Founded in the 80's by Dwight Tew, the company is now run by his son, Scott. After many successful years in business, Scott decided it was time to expand his family's business. Financers pointed Scott in the direction of business counselor Gary Suddith and the Mississippi Small Business Development Center at Jones County Junior College (JCJC MSBDC).

Gary and Scott met at Union Oilfield Supply's office to discuss financial projections and map out a plan for the future of the company. After seeing the business's plan, financiers approved funding for the expansion.
Union Oilfield Supply now operates in a new location more strategically located for its clients and has seen a significant increase in sales. The success of the expansion ensures this locally-owned, locally-run business will serve as an economic catalyst in the area for years to come.

The MSBDC wishes Dwight and Scott and Union Oilfield Supply, Inc. much success and many years of continued prosperity.
