"I relocated to Meridian, Mississippi in February 2013. By January of the next year I realized that Meridian, Mississippi had a special place in my heart, and had become my new home. I decided to look into openning my own business. The task of opening a business can be very stressful. Thanks to the SBDC and the professionalism, and guidance of Mr. Dustin Odom, I was able to accomplish my goal of opening a medical uniform store. The information provided to me was key in making the process smooth and ensured that all necessary requirements were met. With Healthcare being one of the predominant industries in Meridian, MS, Healthcare employees are always looking for a place to purchase stylish uniforms. This is exactly what Scrubs Station LLC is offering to the city of Meridian, MS.
Scrubs Station LLC was started in February 2014 by Mrs. Faride A. Pedersen. While Scrubs Station LLC may be new to Meridian, MS; Mrs. Pedersen is not new to the medical uniform retail industry. Mrs. Pedersen opened and operated a very successful medical uniform retail storefront in the Virgin Islands before relocating to Meridian, MS. Her experience and passion for customer service can be experienced from the moment the customer walks through the doors of Scrubs Station LLC. Scrubs Station LLC offers a range of sleek medical uniforms for both women and men. Scrubs Station LLC also has a range of other products from stethoscopes, name badge holders, travel drink ware, candles, to jewelry.
Mrs. Faride Pedersen first contacted the MSU-SBDC in Meridian, MS by attending the “How to Develop a Business Plan” workshop. When Mrs. Faride Pedersen decided to take the next step in starting her business, she contacted Dustin Odom at the MSU-SBDC in Meridian, MS to help with reviewing her business plan, obtaining an Employer Identification Number, and with setting up her Limited Liability Company.
The Mississippi Small Business would like to congratulate Mrs. Faride Pedersen on her new business venture and wishes Scrubs Station LLC immense success!
